Firefighters from across the area are battling a heavy fire at a Fairfield County condominium complex, according to multiple sources.
The fire, which started around 3:55 p.m. Wednesday at 658 Success Ave., in Stratford, was first thought to be in Bridgeport but was later found to be located in Stratford. Both departments are working the blaze.
Bridgeport dispatch said the department has multiple units on the scene.
Heavy fire was said to be located in the rear roof section of the 2.5-story complex but by 4:20 p.m. the fire was knocked back to hot spots.
There was no information available regarding any injuries or the cause of the fire.
